However, the abundance of white space has resulted in some features being buried; the homepage gives you quick shortcuts to run scans or to turn on the VPN for instance and there are hyperlinks to a few non-essential system optimisation tools, too, but most of the tools are hidden under the Explore tab. Installation is simple and straightforward and there’s not any pressure to upgrade. However, the initial scan will highlight advanced issues that can only be addressed with a premium subscription. This is a concern and one that Which? mentioned in its report on 2020.
